I should try and find the finnish version of the Bell Jar. I remember it had a striking cover with a red bird and a black cage or some sort. I’ve wanted that version of the book ever since, but alas, no luck with that. It’s impossible to find any of Plath’s translated books here, which is a shame, because on the contrary to just about everything else, I enjoy her poems in finnish more than I do in english. It appears that poetry prefers to speak to me in my native tongue.


On another note, my darling promised to buy Good Omens for me today on their way home from work. I can hardly believe I’ve not read that book yet. I should hang my head in shame now.
